Got a blue 968dps dagger with no stats on it. sold for ~3mill while there were some really good rares with stats+more dps for 5mill

and you obviously know nothing....900 dps weapons are normal...prices are starting to plummet. Nobody is going to spend "millions" for a dagger they wont be using end game...im sorry. Especially some level 43.

Farmed ~2 hrs ago for a total of 1 hour.

I popped to the platform, searched both sides, collected stuff then popped to town and redid.
Did not vendor anything until 1 hr passed.
180% MF passive.


Results:

1) At least 7 attempts out of this 1hr had NO jars/chests whatsoever (well, maybe like 1 jar)
2) Was very common (~60% of attempts) to get a total of around 150-200 gold per run and no magic items
3) Received a grand total of 2 rare items (both for level 59)
4) Received a grand total of 23 blue items, of which 20 were useless, and 3 were somewhat (50k-ish) useful.
5) All weapons received were below 600dps mark
6) The top right corner has a roughly 80% chance to spawn a charging mob
7) The bottom left corner has a roughly 15% chance to spawn a small shadow mob when breaking a jar
About 40% of the time a Shrine of Fortune was present


My personal opinion: Easily semi-afkable, but not really worth it. Either it was hard nerfed, or i am terribly unlucky.

Just use the public game trick? Join a public game on Hell difficulty at Act IV: Prime Evil quest. After you found one, leave the game.
Reclick public games, it'll now have Inferno Act IV: Prime Evil selected. Let it find you a group, leave that group aswell.
Now you can resume game and you'll be in act 4 inferno.

Edit: Heck, it's even in the guide itself at 'Second step'. Do read.

I love how people go "FIXED" just because they see a little mobs, or didn't get a legendary in 4 runs..
Specc your character to avoid the mobs, with speed and survivability, and this is still easy.
I do this as a monk with 225% MF, and yes, there are mobs, but the last two days I've found 3 set items, and a bunch of really good rares/blues that sell for 1-4 million each.

This is not fixed, it's just a little harder with the mobs.

Before servers went down farmed for ~2 hours more just to be sure.
I even got some extra MF (215% now) just to see if it helps.

28 blue items (over 2 hours), of which 23 were 59 or below, and not a single useful one among other 60.

Either RNG keeps being terrible for me, or this spot is just not very good.

RNG is a bitch, for sure. I ran this for 2 hours and was getting shit drops, while my friend whom I told about it was getting amazing drops. Like, 6m on the AH crazy. You just have to be willing to stick to it for 5+ hours of tedious repetition. Also if you get charged with mobs and need a quick way out go through the entrance to the NW of the waypoint, Library of Fate. I've used it numerous times and never once had a mob be there and it let me leave game/teleport back no problem.

Also I recommend bringing the enchantress with you, as if a mob comes at you she will mez it, and if you have a quick get away ability you can run to the other side and when it breaks mez it wont know where you are and will not follow you. (This is not always true with the big demon mobs that trigger when you go to the edge of the platform)

I don't know if this was like that before, but now mobs randomly appear. not a problem for my mage, even with the force armor nerf, mirror image +9 illusionist works like a charm, but i expect lotf of people having troubles now

Im doing on my Barb, cleave w/ extra fury gain, furious charge with fury gain, sprint w/ marathon and warcry.
I warcry for the fury, sprint and take off for pots. I charge into a group of pots to fill up the fury and jjust keep sprinting.
Warcry is on 30 sec cooldown and im usually done with a run before its back up.

figured i'd finally login and post on this forum to let you guys know how my success has been regarding this farming spot.

i've been farming it the last three days. i've gotten a bunch of shitty blues, some shitty yellows, a legendary i sold for 1m, a legendary worth about 80k, a 1250 2h axe, some 800+ xbows and a warrior set piece worth around 4.5m.

i'm at 199% MF with my templar out, spot is still going strong as long as you have patience.

SO i can see that you ppl are good geared for this, maybe some1 can gift me a 800+ dps 1h with aspd at least? (?) :P so i can kill in act 4, i didnt pass to act3 yet.
