For all you guys that got banned using Autoit for sarkoth, which scripts did you guys use?

This isn't really going to matter imo. The autoit scripts are all so similar, it's not like one or some are more safe than others at this point in time. It seems like blizz is having a very easy time finding any one of these bots right now.

Banned, Sarkoth, AutoIT using Chancity's on 7 of 8 of my accounts. Odd thing was they did it over the course of an hour.

24/7 All 3 Accounts for 4+ weeks

HACKS if you used any: back in the first few weeks of d3 I used d3advanced to bot.

Technically they don't "IP ban" because we can all just buy more accounts and continue using the same IP.

However! They are FLAGGING IPs and continuing to closely monitor them for further botting activities.

They are definitely monitoring the way accounts interact, and therefore mules or all other accounts that share the same IP are going to be candidates for bans as well!

are you saying they ban mule accounts even if the mule account has never botted? that seems rather unlikely for blizzard though. Are there instances that you are aware of that make you think that way?

That seems unlikely for Blizzard? What? They have been doing this for several years in WoW, and yes they definitely ban pure mule accounts. They are not banning bots to save bandwidth here, they are trying to clean up the game. It would be completely ridiculous for Blizz to NOT ban mule accounts, which is why mule accounts are infact targeted and killed off. There are several reports just in this thread with people having "clean" mule accounts banned..

Simply put, there is no such thing as a "clean" account if you have ever put any gold or items on it obtained from botting, period.

If you read through this thread you will read over and over of instances where safe accounts are banned along with bot accounts, especially if gold was transferred between the two. Just about every single page in this thread should have someone saying it... The toss up is whether or not they are banning all current accounts on IP regardless of trades between accounts. The particular situation you are describing is no toss up at all really.. its pretty official.. unless all these people are lying of course.

How would Blizzard know any better? You violated the ToS just logging into his account lol, cant use that as a defense ;p

Your friends account now has gold on it from a source of hacking / cheating / exploiting / botting / blah blah blah, and it was logged in on the same account as the bot(s) that made the illegal gold. Pretty easy for them to connect the dots.

Lots of people try the "it was my brother, mother, father, sister, priest, schoolteachers, etc, etc account". Usually doesnt fly, but it really just depends on the GM that views the account. You may get lucky and the GM lets it slide because it wasnt much gold you gave, or it could be a prick GM that just bans because it looks like a gold mule you have.

How is logging into his account violating the ToS? Where in it does it say, you cannot let anyone log in except yourself. So if I buy an item from some random guy in-game, now he has my "illegally obtained gold". Is he gonna get banned now?

I think you give Blizzard too much credit. They aren't investigators, sitting there connecting dots. They're lazy asses who use a system called warden, and whoever warden flags, they ban. That's all there is to it.

if they banned only us account, eu botters could expect a nice raid in their accounts today
i used sarkoth bot only for the last 2 days in main and only account... i hoped to get enough gold till game limit update, just to complete this shitty game
if i'm banned i will only regret to not have finshed the game in inferno.
Once done with it i will resell anything and wait for a decent update

in wow, yes, because Gold selling and buying is against their TOS.
buy in diablo. it's perfectly fine to buy and sell gold via third party or blizzard itself.

when u buy gold from third party legally. where do these gold come from you think? of course botted by machine or by human of course...
