I'm pretty sure even the notAres DH script got some bans.

But I agree, I keep getting baffled when they make them more and more inhuman with all the gadgets and now memory reading. I would feel safer using a bare bones script after this ban wave is done.

Following this banwave, it seems like all who got banned were unlucky enough to be online when it happened.

Long time botters who happened not to be online during the banwave were spared. Also, users who just started botting and were online during banwave were spared as well.

Banwave also seems to have taken place around 5PM (PDT). Avoid botting during office hours?

I was botting on my main account +5 weeks now. gained over 250 million, there is no ban yet... (Account is having authenticator and all the money i gave to my real life friends)

And i have two other accounts each collected over 100 million, that's in less than two weeks, no ban yet

All accounts are linked with authenticators
Been using VM most of the time
Botting time is about 20+ hours daily.
Only AutoIT botting

Can't wait for the BAN :P

If we are actually seeing two or more ban waves now, this could definitely be the precursor to finally allowing gold sales on the RMAH. Fingers crossed.

When you say right now, were you sitting and staring at the bot running before getting kicked from server and experiencing the ban error message?

I saw a friend in IRC mention that they just got banned. I tabbed into my botting client and saw the standard ban message. Not everyone got hit, though. Seems like you had to be botting before a certain point to get tagged.. either that or my particular search settings are just really fast and that's the reason I got hit. Either way it doesn't matter -- this account has been going for two full weeks now and was bound to get banned sooner or later. Already got a new account going.

The natural human greediness is pulling on me but I have 3 accounts not banned, I want to wait a day or 2 and watch this thread. Seems silly to bot atm.

Yeah, Im getting pulled as well. I was on my VM with my bot logged in and someone called me just before the urge to press the "=" came. hahaha I will wait a few days to let the hammer simmer down a bit. Soooo tempting!

Apparently those accounts that uses ZK post patch got hit with the ban hammer as well. My pre-patched accounts with ZK did not get touched at all.

Yeah all of the bans are based on recent activity, and thats sort of my reasoning for just stopping while this is going on.

New message says maintenance Thursday morning, might start back up after that.
