I'd recommend not closing your games if you've still got a working one.

An important factor though: I've noticed the games become a little unstable after running for a very very long time, and gold/loot sometimes can't be picked up. I've lost at least a couple of legs that I simply couldn't pick up. So if you care about anything more than experience, then staying in a game until Tuesday's server shutdown may not work.
