The only solution is to trade the game with someone else already doing it , like swapping the whole party over to another game , and the other owners go to your game

There is no solution to this.
This is exactly what's happening to me right now. And yes I have a leg floating in the pile.
I tried exiting the game(close program), waited 10 minutes and rejoin but the loots are still there.
It only happens to one of the 8 loot piles so it's not too bad. I'm here for exp anyways.

move under the pile of items then click it, it works for me if the pile is floating in the air

Seems to be hotfixed? Emkideva follows me everywhere. Kited him 1 min away from the spawn, then I let him kill me. Then after walking back to the spawn, he suddenly shows up from were I left him and started to kite me again.

Don't know about Emkideva teleporting back to the spawn, but it has definitely been hotfixed.. This no longer gives exp.

One the second try, I was able to leave him far from the spawn and I'm at the spawn getting ready to AFK. Emkideva teleported out of nowehere after 1 min of being in the spawn. Definitely hotfixed. Time to move on.
