AFK farming - 2 billion xp/hr + tons of item drops [help needed]

2 Questions. Is it still working for people that had a game open before the hotfix? and is it only hotfixed in Campaign?

I was soloing T6 and got kicked from my game. I just started a new one in adventure mode and it's nerfed (monsters give zero xp). A friend has a game that started before the fix ongoing and it's still working for him, so it's just fixed for new games.
