Iskatu - Rakanoth FAST run (Archon form whole way) Wizards

i saw the vid and im sure he has a lot of hp cuz u cant take one hit of elite from range even in archon and he take a lot of hit

im not talking about the dps u need to do iskatu ... im telling u cant do what op say unless u r full stuff !
and btw i am ok no need to taunt me about how to learn to play or else .. .i down diablo inferno and im actually farming all shit without pb ...

Its just rakanoth and mob of acte 4 cant goes down this quickly before they hit u cuz they move faster than u and u cant down rakanoth just with archon simply in blasting him ...
or maybe show me a video of your "trick"

ya u gotta have 25% movespeed .. if u use temporal flux u can simply blast everything on the way to rakkanoth (im at 62k dps) .. and as for rakkanoth himself .. dps him .. he comes blink .. run dps blink .. and so on .. ill post a video as soon as im home

This is how this would work in Inferno:
1) You pop Archon on Iskatu
2) Iskatu kills you

Ok, you are semi-BiS geared and got around 150K DPS:
1) You pop Archon on Iskatu and kill him
2) You get ****ed by the charging mob on the way to Rakanoth, because you can't kite in Archon form.

YOU'VE MANAGED TO OVERCOME ALL CHALLENGES AND GET TO RAKANOTH:
1) You pop Archon on Iskatu and kill him
2) You kill all the trash on the way to Rakanoth in under 3 minutes
3) Rakanoth oneshots you

You must not have seen the vid of a 120k DPS Archon Wiz owning everything in sight in act 3-4 Inferno. Killing Elite Packs in 5-8 seconds.

BTW for the pple who touch themself watching the 128k dps wizard :
he has 30 k hp (he take an absorb of 10500~ dmg : do the math) and take a lot of hit so the only way to survive it is becuz he do that before the nerf of rune force !
and he never find elite with reflect damage ...

I have 50k dps and i can make iskatu without problem.

But rakanoth oneshots me...

Here's a video I found, show's an easy kill to rakanoth. Killing act 4 trash in archon just sucks. Pop out of it, teleport through, wait a min, go back, kill rakanoth with new skillsetup

And where is the Archon in this video ? I didn't bother replying on any comments so far because nothing changed since the last time I said this is impossible on inferno. But comments are too many now so I guess it's time for me to elaborate.

Let say you do a build to zerg iskatu. You take piercing orb and dynamo, you build glass cannon and u kill him. So far so good. Then you move to the next room with your teleport archon. You meet an elite pack. You are in archon, you have no blizzard, no frost nova, no wormhole, no hydra, no energy shield, no diamond skin. There's no way with the Iskatu glass cannon build that you will kill the first elite pack to come in your way unless you indeed have over 100k dps. And even then I doubt u'll take more than 2 hits without force armor. Maybe you can get to Rakanoth's room if there are no elites on the way and maybe you'll pass the white mobs if you hold the archon for the full run. And if it runs out ? Nothing you can do, u can't even kill the mobs anymore cuz u have no kite no defense. Let's ignore all the if's and maybe's so far and say you actually manage to get with archon to rakanoth. And then what ? You'll fight Rakanoth with your archon on ? He'll teleport and oneshot you and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it, even with 150k dps.

Let me sum it up for you guys:
1) there are elites on the way - you change skills
2) you die from white mobs - you change skills
3) you get to rakanoth - you change skills
1), 2), 3) - if you're going to remove the archon before Rakanoth anyway, why bother taking it in the first place ? Let's keep on elaborating.

So what can you actually do then ? You can kill Iskatu with archon and then remove it because it becomes useless. Unless you have 120k+ dps. Which you don't. Everything you do leads to the exact same end - you need the ancient guardian bug to take on Rakanoth. So basically you will change your spells anyway before you enter him. Which brings me to the favourite part - the conclusion. The conclusion is that this little run is useless on inferno. Why ? Because you either go there with Archon build to kill Iskatu or you go with guardian build to kill Rakanoth. Iskatu is good(ish) for farming, Rakanoth is not. Even if Rakanoth was good for farming you can choose to farm just one and it will be faster timewise - either Iskatu or Rakanoth, you can't do both in the same run, you're wasting way too much time on the white adds between them. The only use for this on inferno is if for some reason you want to go trough the quest line again... and again... and again... and again.

2. all mob after iskatu os u unless u r 30k hp withrune force of armor
3. Rakanoth os u even in archon ...

There is no reason this wouldn't work on inferno though I havent tried it because, frankly, I think my current farming has a better return on investment. Nothing should one shot you if you have reasonable gear. More importantly, nothing should be hitting you if you're in archon form, as it should melt before it touches you.

im not the only one thinking this is not usable on inferno unless u have the best in slot build

even if u manage to reach itheriel wihtout dying and in archon form, i cant believe u kill rakanoth or maybe something is missing

>99% of wizzards will get 1-shot by the demons that tele-smash from the edge/out of view. The remaining <1% wouldn't waste time farming Iskatu/Rakanoth this way.

Let me clear the water a bit.

This *IS* doable on inferno. you don't need 70k+ DPS to get it done either. 40k is about comfy. To ensure a quick kill on iskatu and as for rakanoth. you CAN kill him while still in archon form if you do it with a little skill.

also you don't use teleport on your normal bar at all... You should never be out of archon form minus the few seconds you are posistioning yourself before iskatu encounter.

I was going to go on capslock but I calmed down a little. Anyway what I had to say - I would love to see you doing this. Really. What I actually mean is either post a video of going from iskatu to rakanoth and killing rakanoth withoutout going out of archon form with 40k dps or don't trashtalk and confuse people. I have 36k hp with 600 all res and 50k dps on my wizard and I would love to see a mage killing rakanoth in archon form. With 40k dps. So please, post your video.
