My stats are 280/160, slowly upgrade but items are quite expensive. My luck with Rares are bad, out of total rares I've found only less than 10 can sell for decent price, and none have sold for above 2m. The rest i dun even bother in case they stuck on auction house. I have beaten diablo so i think i know about pricing. Is it the same for you? Like more than 95% of rares are rubbish you just vendor them?

I guess my only question is how you achieve 44k DPS on that DH? It doesn't appear that much damage on your gear, you don't have high DEX, crits or IAS or am I missing something? What is your DEX? What build are you using? I run the notAres build.

I have improved my build but it seems 350k/h is likely what I am getting on a 280 GF. There is almost less than 1s wastage in game. Should I switch resolution to 800x600 to significantly reduce loading time?

how do you guys get 300 MF on your DH. I've basically maxed out MF for every piece of armor but currently stuck at around 275 cuz there's no MF on weapons. Please advise on this.

Rings are maxed at 18%, shield at 20, quiver at 18.

Have you been getting the same results recently? I've been doing some runs tonight with 260 MF and am firmly around 10% of my drops as rares. It could just be the RNG acting against me though so I plan to run a longer run tonight and see how things go

Blizzard recently released some information regarding magic find:

Items & Equipment - Game Guide - Diablo III

So it is lineair afterall. What is interesting though is that higher MF does yield you a bigger chance to not only loot rares, but also to get the 6 affix rares which you want. Might not be as important for botting, but people that are doing 5 stacks NV, getting a guaranteed rare every pack and not even bothering with more MF this is huge.

rings max at 18. except band of fallen heros/chain of something - 2 set rings that can have MF on them as a random stat with a set bonus to MF/GF. They can have over 36 combined.

yep, prob cause I'm the man. Jk, all 3 chars are same though, except wizard which accidentally salvaged his own helm while testing an ilvl script.
I also got another god tier item that sold for 80M IGG, so the apperance of these 'freak' items really is more frequent than I would say as random. If you are running 1, expect 1 per 3 weeks, if 3 chars, I seem to get 1 per week.

I've been botting for about 1.5 weeks now and ive slowly been thinking about transitioning over to MF>GF and luckily came across your thread.

I believe my gear is fine for now but im looking to swap it over time (better damage and %). Do you mind sharing which scripts are you using exlusively for your DH & Wiz and approximately how long are their runs? Id just like to see if there is anything additionally i can do to maximize their efficiency. (aside from better damage gear)

I have been using the NonAres 1920x1080 bot for my DH with pretty decent gear, i get roughly 440- 480k gph if im lucky with the time of ~ 26 sec open and ~13.5 closed.

For my Wiz, i just started using Chancity's 800x600 script which is a lot quicker, i get about 20 sec open and 9 sec closed. i havent kept a record of my GPH because my % is pretty bad, i was just testing it to make sure it was working as it should.

DH script is LATM's DH (me) inside of Blacksack's multi-character.

Wiz script is Chancity sorc. Both were in the OP!

I was actually asking about the rate of rares dropping in general. I ran last night (all night) and only had about 10 percent of all items dropped as rares. I was just wondering if you've still been getting around 40% of your drops as rares. I started botting Sark a few days ago and on the first night I got a full stash of rares. Ever since then I've only been getting about one page per 8 hours. Have you noticed a nerf to your drop rates (implying Sark is ignoring MF now)?
