Thx for your help but I am still unsure how to make it work.

I downloaded 2.26 and saved it on my desktop and I can see its a .rar file in property that can be open with Win Zip. Double click on it, Win zip open and I see
FinderKeepers.exe Application. I took it and drag it on my desktop like you told me. Now I have an icon to start the program but if I lauch it I still have exactly the
same problem with the sound not working. Any help much appreciated

    Best Regards,

    Best Regards,
You have to unzip the rar.
Idk WinZip but usually you right click the rar and click "Unzip to" select a folder (maybe Desktop) and click unzip. Then you'll find the whole data in the folder. Here you can put the exe

    Edit: typo

Thx for your help. Once I unzip the .rar file the only thing I got is a file with KeepFinders application. If I click on it it lauch the program and its not working properly. Normally when
I unzip a compressed file I got a bunch of stuff + the application. Perhaps its Winzip 17.5 free version that is not working properly. Any more help appreciated.

    Regards,

    Regards,
    Download WinRAR (Free)
WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files

what does it say when you launch it?

Edit: Saw that the sounds didn't work.
    Do this:
    1) Create a folder on your desktop called FindersKeepers (or what ever you like)
    2) Drag the .exe into the folder.
    3) Go to finderskeepers.site40.net/Downloads and download "Default sounds".
    4) Unzip the folder and drag it to your FindersKeepers folder (Don't change the name of the folder from "Sounds")

EDIT: Just erased my long message, I got it to work by simply importing the default wav file into the program.
Do you know where I can find the Legendary sound wav file, I just got the default wav from the Sound Download.

Thx a lot, keep up the great work,

    Regards,

Thx a lot, your new file is working perfectly with the default sound incorporated. Sent you a modest 10 euros donation to encourage you in your work.
One last thing I would like to know is how to get the pop up on screen with the name of the legendary.

    Best Regards,

    Best Regards,
    THanks for the donation.

To get the overlay working you need to have a "custom filter" set to legendary. Then go to "Application tab" -> mark Item Alert and press Edit Item. A popup should now appear, in "Event popup" tab, click on "Custom filters" and enable the checkbox for your filter. (Please note: If you have "Disable in town" enabled, you won't hear the sound / overlay while in town.

Make sure Diablo III is running in window mode (or window mode fullscreen).

Don't copy over your Settings folder, let FK create new ones from scratch.

    Hello,

    this program is awesome.
But i have a problem with other Sound Files.
I have custom .wav files for Rares Legendarys etc. sometimes after a fresh Comtuter start it does not play the custom sounds, only the one brought with Loot Alert and the new "Halleluja".
After a restart of the computer it works for 90%, sometimes I have to restart again.
I have Virtual audio Cable installed and got a Wireless headset with own Sound drivers and onboard Sounddrivers, to which my Surround System is attached.
When I change the output device, the custom sounds arent played anymore, only the one from loot Altert and the "Halleluja".
Is there a problem with this program and multiple audio devices ?

Are the sounds still there in "Custom filters" for the each process or are they empty?
