This is likely due to the private server's MoP game files. I play on WoTLK Private Server Warmane, using the latest version of RXPGuides, and it works wonderfully.

Hi! Can you pleas tell me how you done it? If i am using latest version of RXPGuides and it's just not shown in interface. Playing on Lordaeron btw

Did you take the link from the first post and not read how to install it?

Oh i done maaaaany things. At first: I am trying to get it working on warmane wotlk 3.3.5a server.
I readed maaany post with instructions etc. using forum search incl.
Yep i tried every version of rexp in first post extracting it to my addons folder. Best what got was not responding ui frame.
I tried to downgrade interface to 30300 from 4.4.0 REXP from curse, still unresponsive broken frame.
And finaly as Dkpwnz posted i tried latest version from curse, with no effect. Indicates that addon is fine, but no frames and /rexp do nothing

P.S. editing this local WoWWrath = (WOW_PROJECT_ID ~= WOW_PROJECT_MAINLINE) and WOW_INTERFACE_VER >= 30300 and WOW_INTERFACE_VER < 40000

So basically you have a classic add-on with a modern API.
Trying to run it on a game from over a decade ago with a very old API they are not compatible.

So the only option we’ve got is to install Hermes. Scale of the API to the latest version and hope that classic add-ons run on that old client.

You can try my 3.3.5 one.
I did try it and nothing loaded. But for me that client crashed a lot.

Do they use a custom api? If so, then it will not work.

I know Ascencion use custom API, not sure about Epoch.
Can you give a link to download your 3.3.5 version to test it out?

Well the issue is, RXP you can get from Curseforge, but for 3.4 and classic.

I have zygor for 3.3.5 and does not work on Epoch.
Looks like they have a custom API, that stops original addons from working.

Zygor 3.3.5 does work with Epoch, all 3.3.5 addons I've tried work on Epoch so I dont think they use a custom API. Do you have a vanilla classic guide for zygor that works on 3.3.5, I've tried one that I have found for modern classic but does not load/show the guide and it looks like the 3.3.5 zygor uses a different format in the guide .lua. Just a guess though so maybe I'm doing something else wrong there.

Zygor from there loads, but it's a WoTLK guide. Can't get Classic Vanilla guides to show/load though.

No errors, just does not show in the guides list. I have just found this from the GitHub of that specific Zygor: GitHub - ErebusAres/ZygorGuidesPlus_3.3.5a-WOTLK: Zygor Guides Viewer and Talent Advisor with Modifications to the guide to be more suited for Trinity Core 3.3.5a WOTLK Version which says "This is designed for use in a Private Server using Trinity Core."
From what I can tell modern Zygor guides seem to use a different format in the .lua to the 3.3.5a Zygor, just a hunch.
