So you choose to install over old files, merge them together and then wonder why it dies not work. When it is using old files/settings with a new file and causes conflict.

That is why since software began. People are always told to remove the old one and add the new one.

I have never uninstalled a program in order to update it.. Always run the installer and i am sure the installer do it's job.

But restedxp folder isn't an unstaller, that's why i am asking.



Also, how exactly do you hack the guides? Can i just buy them and paste the files here?

So for example if you install adobe photoshop 2023 and you had 2022.
You let it install and then you have the other one still there.
If you install 2024, you have 2023 and 2022 still there because you never removed them

Why should I say how I do things? Is that not the point to have a clean file and then it is not prevented?
Only 3 people know what I do and I keep it at that.

Well go ahead then, install addon, on top of addon on top of addon. When it has issues and it does not work. Well what do you expect with merging data?
