Hello there, I just registered to thank you so very much for doing this. I've tried using the older version with the MoP Pre-Patch, which didn't work at first but thanks to the post explaining to change #cata to #mop inside the .lua files, it worked again.
I get your frustration sometimes, people not being able to read properly, but you know how humans can be..

First of all, thank you BlueRainsky you're the goat and I genuinely feel sorry for you for having to deal with half of the people in here that can't follow simple instructions.

Second, a 'fix' for those who still seem to be struggling with getting it to work. For the love of god if you're logging straight into a Pandaren without doing anything else to see if the guides are there, check on your other characters first because the guides do not load on Pandarens until you've chosen either Horde or Alliance right at the end of the starting quest chain.

I feel like some people might have breadcrumbs of previous addon settings or versions on their folders... I tried to track where the file is coming from and I cannot. Tried 4.7.6, current version, updating folders from previous backups I had and nothing workds unfortunately. Could you maybe test it on an empty game settings BlueSky? that might help to track. If I find anything I'll post here but as of now I really can't find anything that works unfort :/ I format my computer pretty often and import backups using wowup.

I appreciate the efforts and comment from everyone, specially BlueSky for helping us with the files <3

I did post a solution but my posts were removed after OP had a mental breakdown and threatened to kill me.

No the addon was in fact broken for the past few days while OP called everyone on here stupid as you can tell, - he's been having a mental breakdown over it, however I can only assume that it works now.
(Haven't tested since I managed to make the guides functional myself before he did)
Make sure you just fully close your game and the guides should show up.

If people uninstall any software, you remove all the files.
When people uninstall an addon, they remove the addon and leave the saved variables behind.

You do not say what the issue is so I cannot resolve it.

Well that act was done, was it not. The thread was cleared up and now you are back again, causing an issue.

All addons for the past 21 years have gone in to the addons directory. I never said to put them anywhere else.
Now if people put them anywhere else. Then they are causing the problem and that is their actions not mine.

Now if people put them anywhere else. Then they are causing the problem and that is their actions not mine.

You are the one posting to my thread. You are reported for your accusations. You are claiming a ban is murder.

Addon has been broken for a while before yesterday when you realized, no your instructions are not enough, you do in fact need to fully close the game for the guides to show up.
Just trying to help people get this to function as you can't provide clear instructions to your own Addon.
