Can someone walk me through how to install the rested xp guide? Do i have to install the free 1-30 addon first? And what do i do with the file i downloade? Much apreciated

Download and extract to the classic or wrath Interface/addons folder.

Take the file from the archive with 7zip and put it in the folder

Hey man, you are an absolute legend for doing this, thanks for providing the guides to us who cannot afford it and/or refuse to pay for an addon guide out of principle. Thank you so much!

I don't know if this helps at all, but I found this is another way around the battle.net restrictions they placed: Just a moment...

Someone made a tool where if you paste your guide import string plus the source battle.net ID and the destination, it will decode then re-encode the string so that it can be imported to the intended battle.net account. If it is easier for you, you could just upload a text file here and share the "source" battle.net ID, then we can download unmodified addon and generate our own import string using this tool. Not sure if this is helpful or not but wanted to share!

Not sure if I can trust it either, as it would know the BN ID and give it back tot he Devs

Did they just today implement the fix for shared versions of the guide as mentioned above? I can't seem to get the addon to appear in game by any means

What did you download and where did you get it from?
Seeing my file works fine.

Yea I see informants on here told the Devs what I posted.
The Devs claim I wrote the whole guide manually in 20 minutes.
Far from true, the informants rat us out and they rat themselves out too.

Well the forums are public, so there's that. I think every serious WoW player knows of this place.

But as many, I also appreciate what you are doing. To be fair it's not like we couldn't live without the guide, it's more of a commodity. But I don't support devs who are greedy, if you check their prices...they cost more than two WoW expansions ....not to mention the product itself is not exactly "premium"...you will encounter numerous issues, bugs our simply outdated routes or steps that just dont exist in the game etc. It has a lot of problems in general. It's like something that you ordered on Wish.com lol.

Yea the forum is public and when people relay to the devs what happens, they know.
The original guide was released at a high cost, with multiple bugs.
They released SOM which has bugs and still does.
They released 1-70 and still bugs.
They released 1-80 and still bugs.

But they expect people to pay a high price for a product, that is not fully functional and claim Devs work up to 15 hours a day.
1 Dev claims I manually wrote all the guides myself. Which is actually impossible.
As the Devs what the topics, so they can try and fix what I fix.

Good point and I agree.
I am thinking of enabling a link to the routes addon in the addon.
Then link wow-farming.com
So people can import a route and farm as much as they can.

Yea as soon as they get one route working in game. I plan to add my own.
