Sorry to hijack the thread but is it possible to hex/edit game files in order to do simple gear/race swaps? In the old days all you had to do is edit some mpqs or itemcache and you were all set. Nowadays is it possible without memory injection?

Update for Classic WotLK patch 3.4.0.45942

Having very inconsistent results using this. Sometimes my morphs persist through shapeshifting as long as I don't zone between areas. If I zone, it always reverts it. And after that, the morph never persists through shapeshifts or just randomly reverts while standing around. If I log out or reload it just stops working and won't morph me anymore until I restart the game and imorph. Also encountered a new issue just today, where after morphing to a horde race, the client no longer considered me to be alliance. Could no longer use my alliance pvp trinket for example. Attached an image that showed the faction text red on the trinket and it would not let me use it. Restarted the game and it happened again. Not 100% sure but I think today was the first time this has happened.

edit: apparently disabling the afterburner/rivatuner overlay was not enough, and turning them off completely solved every problem. I expected some kind of error but that might just be me being dumb. Sorry if this was bothering you.
