I still don't understand how someone got banned for this. Perp has been using it since Classic release even on stream, and I and 50% of my entire guild has been using it since Classic release and none of us were banned either.

Not sure what to tell you. I have used iMorph in the past without any issues. It was the first time using this "new" iMorph since Icesythe bowed out.

Believe me or not but I have never used a bot or third party program on any of my accounts. The only culprit has to be iMorph. I mean, it goes against the ToS so is my suspension justified? Yes. Still sucks because it clearly lumped iMorph under bots. It isn't a bot nor is it a third party automation program.

Impossible to argue that point since iMorph still breaks ToS. If anyone has any success with appeals, please let us know.

have been using morphers for like 7 years and haven't ever had an issues. id be pretty pissed if i got banned for it, especially if it was for several months. My friend bought 20k gold and only got banned for 3 days...

Made an account just to let you guys know I've been using this morphing tool since classic release and haven't been banned. I only use .item .npc .morph .scale .race, I feel as if something very specific is flagging the accounts for a ban. Since many Imorph users aren't banned there must be a specific component to the morpher that is flagging that others aren't utilizing.

I really hope this gets resolved as there is no reason to play wow if this morpher isn't working. Since it adds way too much value to the game, I rather not play the game without it. I don't believe blizz intended for imorph users to get banned in the first place, as they never intended consoleport players to be banned either.

Yes, been using it on my main since I started playing back in TBC and never once been banned for any version of any morpher at any point. Not a single person I know that uses this has been banned either, and thats upwards of over 60+ some people.

I still use it even after the banwave, still no bans for over 14+ some years lol

If I remember correctly, I used .itemset and .race. I really barely used it. Maybe the .itemset command is more involved? No idea.

I agree. If I had to guess it's just something with the injection if that's detectable and this was an unfortunate side effect. It is pretty funny to read through the WoWhead comments on this story because people clearly do not know what imorph does. Like one guy outright was trying to spread that imorph allowed you to model edit herb nodes and make them into dark portals to see nodes from a distance, like wtf. Imorph to me by design is made in the way that it is so it's not abusable in the slightest as to prevent those sorts of things and just be purely cosmetic for your character. I think it's probably something to do not with the program or any specific feature so much as like I said, injection if that's detectable at all which I imagine it is. There were a lot of people on various MMOs that were getting banned (I believe WoW was one of them, XIV also) for those services that allowed you to cloud play from a computer with really good hardware if your pc was garbage.

Ironic though that Blizzard would overturn bans on people using porn mods on the games that screwed Moon Guard players heavily, something that quite literally edits your character model, but is sticking to their guns when it comes to morphers supposedly.

Hello, a little update from safe sources:

The Imorph and Addon ban on actual player were never intended or active players using those tools, most of the ban are or will be reverted, the software is kinda of back to normal and ban can be reversed if asked for legit purposes.

My guess is just the weather changes or non character affected changes ( Morph non included ) that should trigger specific flags

4 appeal tickets further and they stand by their ban decision because of EULA violation. In fact they don't even read the tickets, they just copy paste responds they been re-cycling for the past ten years.

Blizzard's anti-botting system is very systemic, it literally throws a net and whoever gets caught in it (actual botters, modders, or people using imorph) gets banned regardless.
Perhaps you guys were lucky enough to not have been playing or using it during the recent banwave. Keep in mind that I have used imorph just the day before the banwave and I have not been banned, so I don't know, maybe there's something more to it? But from my experience (was banned for modding back in Legion when they reverted the bans thankfully) Blizzard's anti-botting system is very blind and will ban anyone that exhibits the slightest hints of "botting". What's makes this even worse, is that Blizzard will NEVER look at botting ban appeals, they 100% blindly believe their system, which makes it very annoying and problematic.

Just FYI this is 100% bullshit. They dont cast a net their detections for the most part are 100% targeted and effective against the thing they are trying to detect. Look back at EWT waves...were other things banned? No..because they were detecting things very specific to EWT.

At present, our Chinese server does not have the problem of changing the model and causing the title. So please quickly update the latest version of imorph. There are a lot of players on the Chinese server who need this tool. Please!!!
