Hey man, i was using your guide but everytime i tried something out it didnt appear in WoW.Also when i select what model i want ,it doesnt appear in MWCS.Am i doing something wrong ?

I tried to do this step by step for Corrupted Ashbringer -> Frostmourne.

The icon on my character turned into the Corrupted ashbringer one, the frost/white animation on the handle area and blade work. Barely any of the sword at all showed up. There was a few gray lines that barely outlined part of it, but that was it.

What happened? How do i fix this?

I think it dont work because this tutorial looks to be based on an hold version of the game.

Models are composed of different type of files now, not only the .m2 (wich is .M2 now) isnt it ?

yea i got the program but i only see the green circle, i open up the common.MPQ and i click on a creature but nothing pops up. i hope its not cuz of widows vista?

Edit: ok it works a little^^ I changed my female bloodelf char to a male Tauren but the Tauren has many graphic bugs in it and i don't know why
maybe the Problem is my WoWme version, can someone upload the version which i have to use with version 3.1.3?

It doesn't work because you're not changing the .blp and/or the .skin files. Those keep track of how the skins are applied to the model and what skins should be applied. Try swapping those too and see what happens
