wow really nice, thanks !
Damn that was fun wasting 30 minutes and then realising this guide was not up to-date.Please edit this, was going all good until the patch-2.mpq came up in the guide...
Right on!
I've been searching waaaay too long for a NE female to BE female model change. -None- of them have worked. So this tutorial was a godsend.
Alright, so, I got it to work somewhat ... except, anyone have any suggestion about what's happening with the head and hair? This is weird, and I believe I've tried just about everything to fix it(including folder diving and multiple MPQs). How frustrating. u.u
EDIT: Nevermind. I got it, and am happily a Bloodelf! Yey! ^.^

i only seem to have the CHARACTER file in my Patch.MPQ , anywone know why
Really nice guide! Even though I have a problem, when I open WoWMe with my patch-4 I just made ( gnome female > broken male ) WoW doesnt show, if I ctrl+alt+delete and check running processors it says WoW is running. Think I've done it wrong or some bug I can just fix? Thanks in advance.
Does it actually work ?![]()
Ok this doesnt work, it says i got wrong game version
Well thanks :>
2 words for this guide AWE+SOME
Works for 2.3 tried it a few days ago and still good.
Just get the latest MWS (.10), latest model fix and helm fix.
as of 2.3 you only have 1 character folder in both common and patch. No worries just follow the instructions as is word for word step by step and you cant go wrong.
My advice for those that say its not working. Install a fresh copy of wow and start the guide from the top. when i first tried it i got errors that you guys were getting.
Thanks again!!!
Whenever I start up WoW I get an error! I can't start it up anymore, anyone knows how to fix this?
i have the same prob as Kungz.. i got an error but i fixed by removing patch, what im trying to say is that it didnt work xD
This looks like a really nice guide! (Im pretty new to Model Editing so this will help me out a lot) But I do have a question. Before I spend time learning how to do this, Im wondering if my race configurations will turn out ok. The other premade race -> race configurations made the race look odd. For example, when I tried making my human into a Undead (Scorge) this is what happened.
As you can see my bones are orangish, and un-undead looking. Will your method turn out correct? Thanks in advance and +rep. (If I can)
I had only 2 files in SCOURGE, well I decided to continue anyway, now my wow ain't working anymore, how to remove the model edits?
Hey thanks man, really nice and sweet guide. Just wish it still worked :/ Says that i have the wrong game version, I whould be glad if u could update the guide and tell me or just show me an other way of fixiing so it'll work. Thanks
