[Guide] Armor / Weapon Changing

Hey, new to the mmowned and model editing :wave:, and tried to follow the guide and failed. I was trying to change Ravager to Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker (lol). When I Ctrl+F for find Thunderfury, I'm not totally sure what to do after that. On the "left side" I see the numbers for it, and when I click them, it highlights the corresponding letter on the "right side." Would I change Thunder to Ravager, by changing the numbers on the left side, and then make fury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker to nothing, by changing their code numbers to 00? I've tried a couple of things, and when searching "Ravager" in atlasloot in-game, I see it, but it's grey, grants a bunch of random stats, and armor, ?? requirements, etc. Any help is appreciated . Tell me what I am doing wrong :confused:

Worked flawlessly...and while that might not be a big deal for some people it was perfect for me because I play on a Mac. The hex editor you provided a link to worked great through wine and ran smooth through the Mac OS.

Ok, all I have successfully managed is to changet the name of my item. 2 times. all teh other times i get a fatal error and ahve to redo my cache. Any help on actually changing the model. Thanks.

P.S. im trying to change a private servers custom item if that makes any difference.

First of all, hai.

You find the bow in-game that you want to change your gun to. Then you follow the guide from there. If you can't find the code for the bow, then use the hex calculator guide at the end.
