Not entirely sure Night. Was wondering that myself. Swapped a 2h axe around and it's not showing on my back. Thing I don't get is that it was a 2h axe swap to a 2h axe so sheath position did'nt change.

hah thanks dude i always had a problem with finding my item i wanted didn't think to crtl+f , now im running around in full S3 and the brutal quickblades =)

I just want to get a feel for blizzard's opinions on this behavior and if this type of modification is often caught and banned by blizzard. I just want to make my 19 twink war look epic and i don't want other people to do it for me. Thanks

well. i cant think of a way blizz ever would find out, since it is all client side, and dosn't change anything on the server what so ever.

Well i got it to work, but every other twink has the same gear >< is there a way that i can make it so that it is only my gear that changes. THanks

I must be doing something wrong, and I consider myself pretty computer savvy. I edit the hexes just as described and save. When I try and start WoW I get this error:

Is model editing that way dangerous? It seems very safe to me since it only affect the cache, but anyone ever heard of someone recieving a ban for this kind of model editing?

Hey I only have one problem, and it's that I can't find certain items. For instance, I found my Furious Gladiator's Spellblade just fine, but I can't fine Zhar'doom, Greatstaff of the Devourer. I checked the spelling 10 times and everything, but I just can't find it .

Is there anything I can do to get around this problem?


Edit: I have seen Zhar'doom ingame, as well. I've also seen a lot of other BC gear that I can't find, as well as a lot of WotLK gear. I also can't even find some of my own gear lol

I read through your post and I'm pretty sure I didn't see this, but I could make it get around errors in finding gear I've seen/have by saving and reopening after every search. Kind of boring, but as long as it works
