I am thinking about completely redoing the UI. That would get rid of those windows or add a button to toggle them. That they aren't movable is because of a missing line of code. Or one too much. Dragging the mouse only gets passed through in 2D mode.

    .\model.cpp:51 > Error loading model [Interface\Glues\Models\UI_(null)\UI_(null).m2]
I was too stupid to count the number of different logon screens. That's why. I noticed that earlier but as you say, its really nothing big.

That's just because there is no water in them.
With 3.* Blizzard introduced a new structure called the MH2O chunk. That one is not yet implemented in Noggit. This does not affect Expansion01 as there is no sense in updating them (too much data). You may ask yourself why Vanilla got updated then. Simple: For basing the redesign on it. Doing a new expansion based on data from the initial release? Bad.
(That's why one could have told earlier that they are redoing those continents even earlier. But who believes a schlumpf?)

On why development seems to be a bit dead currently:

I'm sitting here with a Satellite Pro 4300. That's 128 MB in RAM and 10 GB in HDD (not to speak of the 2 MB gfx RAM! ). Can you imagine working on that? I can't. Even doing things over a remote connection and another PC is so slow, that real development is not possible.

You may ask yourself, why I don't just buy a new PC or what happened to the old one: Well, I don't have a PC since about a month now. I was on someone elses place the last weeks enabling me to get Noggit to the current state.

In order to continue working on it, I therefore need a new PC (well, only parts. I still have a case!). It would be really helpful if people would donate to me. Every dollar is helping schlumpf to continue developing Noggit as soon as possible.

So think about it. You may aswell just wait until I get some present by someone unknown. But the chance that this is happening is even less than me getting money.

    Only time will tell.

    [Development] NoggIt from now on.

Well.. in 2d texturing mode it does nothing with not-selected texture, it just doesn't crash.

Ah, i forget about the MH2O chunk, i just didn't know, that BC maps weren't updated, now it makes sense.

Also, good luck on getting new HW, working on this must suck.. Thanks for your response

Ok, sorry schlumpf I ran it few minutes ago, I had use the repair tool on wow. Now it works, I don't know where was the mistake in the client, I installed it today and without custom patches.

If someone has the same problem you can try using the repair tool and try again.

    DavidTwo2009:
This is a result of a missing file in the directory where you put the exe in. Just like previous versions of Noggit there are pretty much files needed. You should download another version and put the exe I uploaded in it. That should do the job.

    Trying the new version. WORKS!

-Starting screen seems to be a bit dark,
    -Loading screens work perfectly!
-I can't move the texture painting windows..
-Stormwind's lights seem to be very messy. Altho I can
see Stormwind Harbor in the noggit for the first time!
    -ExteriorTest does not work.
    -Emerald Dream does not work.
-Everything looks green in Hellfire Peninsula. Also there
are some weird pieces of ground flying in netherstorm.
    -Karazhan Instances ground is bugged.
-Water works fine in Hyjal Instance!
-3D Texturing seems to work (Awesome!)
-Weird blue circles appear when I press F7 (what are they :O)

    Suggestions:
    Include BGs
More texturing loading options (Wotlk textures)

Hm. May you supply pictures of these problems as I never encountered them. The lightning has some problems due to the DBCs being not read completely but only one of the settings that does not include fog and water settings and therefore may get lightning a bit wrong.

I do not understand why ExteriorTest and Emerald Dream should not work. Please get the log for them.

    Expansion01 surprises me.
Is the ground flying around maybe the horizon being wrong?

Again, here a picture may help, as I never saw that problem but even a perfectely textured Karazhan terrain.

Simply no, no matter what you have to say about it, and for obvious reasons.
If you really want to edit those then make a terrain swap & work from there.

Would be convenient for sure, but until then, you can simply feed a folder with new textures...

    Latest version:
    http://filebeam.com/edbc430dc901e1a39086dd94ef450e3a
There have been NO big changes. Most bugs should still apply. Still there might be little differences like a help page (h), a hotkey for a "ground editing mode" on shift-f1, no missing menu background anymore, possiblitiy to click the second column in the menu and also the possibliity to add a config file (noggit.conf with path=...) to set the path manually (in combination with "noggit.exe -c").

Edit: Sorry, my bad. Now it should be working again.

This MAY or MAY NOT count as a Battleground.. but I think you should add Azshara Crater to the list..

I've wanted to add to it since Beket's was released.. and I'm sure tons of others feel the same way.

Ill tell you this it takes a long time to load lol

Also the terrain editor is it possible to make it a bit different instead of click and hold to continue its like click and drag to edit the terrain but you still hold the shift or ctrl button to raise or lower is that possible to change to put in? or have both features as in you press a key on the keyboard to switch between the two.

Also by reading the log since it takes long time to load the first few lines of the log file says this:
    Code:
    \wowmapview.cpp:100 > Does file C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\enGB\realmlist.wtf exist?
    .\wowmapview.cpp:100 > Does file C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf exist?
    .\wowmapview.cpp:261 > Locale: enUS
    .\wowmapview.cpp:100 > Does file C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\common.MPQ exist?
    .\mpq_libmpq.cpp:17 > Opening C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\common.MPQ
    .\wowmapview.cpp:100 > Does file C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\common-2.MPQ exist?
    .\mpq_libmpq.cpp:17 > Opening C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\common-2.MPQ
    .\wowmapview.cpp:100 > Does file C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\expansion.MPQ exist?
    .\mpq_libmpq.cpp:17 > Opening C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\expansion.MPQ
    .\wowmapview.cpp:100 > Does file C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\lichking.MPQ exist?
    .\mpq_libmpq.cpp:17 > Opening C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\lichking.MPQ
    .\wowmapview.cpp:100 > Does file C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\patch.MPQ exist?
    .\mpq_libmpq.cpp:17 > Opening C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\patch.MPQ
    .\wowmapview.cpp:100 > Does file C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\patch-2.MPQ exist?
    .\mpq_libmpq.cpp:17 > Opening C:\Users\Public\burningcrusade\World of Warcraft\Data\patch-2.MPQ
and it still keeps on going for everything else So I am assuming that the program is not reading the .MPQ files.

(ps reason it says burningcrusade wow is because I was going to downgrade it but gave up I have 5 WoW that is 3.2 LOL)

Edit: Getting same Error message (different directory) as admin and not as admin so its the compile not reading the MPQ fiels.

    My Log reads

    Code:
    .\wowmapview.cpp:221 > Nogg-It (not final)
    Game path: F:\WoW 3.2\Data\
.\wowmapview.cpp:266 > Could not find locale directory. Be sure, that there is one containing the file "realmlist.wtf".

    I fail at life

Just redownload it I use to get that error(or debug info) but only fixed it by redownloading the file

Edit: The error message Will appear if ran by admin or not by admin which leads to the conclusion that what happened in the compile there is a line that tells it that not to read the MPQ files

Edit again: Once after I run the noggit and run wow.exe i get this error:
    Code:
This application has encountered a critical error:

    ERROR #121 (0x85100079) Version Mismatch
    Program: C:\Users\Public\Wrath3.2\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe

    Unable to open DBFilesClient\Startup_Strings.dbc
