EDIT2: You can see display IDs in wowhead.
Ex: Go to http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45801 , click on View in 3D, the URL will modify to "http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45801#modelviewer:1:28953:0"
28953 is the ID. So you don't have to find it in WoWModelViewer or something like that...

Couple of questions.

Do you need a title to change it? Say I wanted to change the Private title would I have to have the Private title to be able to see the changes?

The second is for some reason this isn't working for me I can't change the Jenkins title into anything it's changed in the DBC editor the MPQ is made but the title remains Jenkins in game.

You have to close MPQ Editor because MPQ files can be used only with one process.
And you have to change both Male(Field2) and Female(Field19)

I followed all the steps and stumbled across this problem..
When I login to the character that has the titles on him which I changed, I get a long waiting time on the loading screen and then the game disconnects.. If I login to a character that doesn't have the title, it works fine.. :/
Can you help me with this one?

Hate to bump an old thead :/ but im having the same problem that Zyops was. Yes I changed both field2 and field19 to what I want, but when I log in it remains the same. For example, I change the 'Assassin' title to 'Deadly Assassin' but when I add this title it still says Assassin Elordron
