Re: Change a weapons sheath position (GUIDE)

Hey it's a very nice guide, and easy to read!
    (even I understand it )
But I have a little problem i changed my Continuum Blade to the back of my character, works good was not really much work.
After this I tried to change Night Watch Shortsword,
the durability is 65 so I got the number "41" found it,
and counted 20 slots back but there was only a "00".
Then I changed it to "01" but nothing happened :<
and i couldn't find anything like "03" in the "text".
    So long...

2nd pic - how it looks really

3d pic is what happens if i change offhand and main hand so it look sheath right in p1

so q is: what hex value changes side of weapon in hand or on back?
It's nothing wrong with the hex values, you just picked the wrong item ID to convert to hex. Basically in the item.csv there's 2 Warglaives of Azzinoth (+2 fake ones, the ones marked (Right) and (Left)) The ones not marked with that are the right ones. Both of them have different item ids, the one at the top when you search for them in item.csv, looks like this:

    32837,45479,2,7,21,32,5,Warglaive of Azzinoth
    32838,45481,2,7,22,32,5,Warglaive of Azzinoth

One at the top is the main hand glaive, other one is the offhand. So you need to add the offhand's hex value (B1A9, or A9B1 when added in the hex editor). There, now they shouldn't be inverted.

Re: Change a weapons sheath position (GUIDE)

Got a small problem here, I changed my Crest of Shat'ar to the Bulwark of Azzinoth but, the shield is equiped to the wrong direction:

I want to change the shield to stay always in the vertical way, in combat ready position and unsheathd.

    Who can help meh?

Still not working, the fake ones gives a wierd blue/white box. And it's either hold wrong in hands or wrong on your back. I used 01 position, is there maybe a diffrent one for weapons at your back ?

    Greetings.

Re: [Guide] Change a weapons sheath position

For changing the sheathe position you do not need to know the max durability of your item. Simply count 10 down and 21 to the right from the last letter of the item you wish to change, and you're at the right spot.

Re: [Guide] Change a weapons sheath position

While searching for how to change the sheath position I realized that no one ever answered how to change the position of weapons that don't have durability.

So I tried to find out how to do it myself and found a way to change sheath position for all weapons without having to look up their durabilty.

I am not sure if this is the same with all Hex editors but with the one I use I have found that if you select the space just before the next item starts, and go up until the sel reads "-0x68 bytes" that is the sheath position. Items that have no durability will simply read 00.

For this example I've changed the position of the "Flametongue Seal" from hidden to my hip.

    Just a reminder
01 - 2H melee weapons (axes, swords, polearms)
    02 - Staves
    03 - 1H side-hanging weapons
    04 - Shields
05 - Guns- It comes out from the back hidden
06 - I am thinking this one is bows or crossbows
    07 - Hidden (fist weapons)
