I finally managed to get my model working, thanks to Glitchy's help.

To summarize what succeeded for me:

-Changing language settings to English USA
    -Updating Glitchy MES

and then it worked. The scale setting I used is 0.01 , which is fairly nice.

Are you using the correct model edit fix? And are the tree paths correct?

    Hi Glitchy,

I guess I should compliment your work on this program and your model swapper program first, great job. There is lots of fun in trying everything out in especially your MES.

Anyway, I was wondering if you could resize an already existing MPQ, so that you edit the size only? Lets say I find a perfect race swap from somewhere, but I want it bigger/smaller. Is it possible to do that? Ive been fiddleing with the MPQ editor and tried adding files to it that should make the already existing MPQ (Race Swap) bigger (after my logic, im quite a newb).

@ [Soul Eater]: use 256*256 as max Texture size then even with your old blp converter it should work.
The *.skin files only describes how the Vertices are connected to faces, submeshes, which Texture is used on what submesh and to which Vertex the Bone is attached to.

Gonna do that next time if it doesn't work, now it's fixed luckily so I don't got that trouble anymore, now gonna make some more custom models and planning to release them when I know the scaling pattern that I must use for my models ^^

I think with MPQ editor he means that you can make a MPQ and add files and such.

I'm new to 3d models and can't get my Custom OBJ->M2 edits to work.

    These are the problems:

-First of all, your export window is quite different from mines (I have version 2010):

-Second thing is that when I try to convert M2 the program gives this error raport (Translated to English with Google translator!!!)

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
JIT debugging will require that this
application or machine configuration file (Machine.config)
    is jitDebugging determination system.windows.forms section.
The error correction must also be enabled on the application
    translating.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </ configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, the uncaught exception
machine is sent to the registered JIT Debugger
and are not addressed in this dialog box.
-So what are the right settings actually? Or what is wrong?

    Then some more things:

-How do you take a texture of a MAX model? (Max -> Max & PNG)
-What is the best place to download free models?

Not a big one, but from what I've seen, e.g google etc. updating is the correct word, and on the windows toolbar it says updateing :P well, correct me if I'm wrong =P just thought you might want to change that when this goes live? =)

Hmm.. the textures don't seem to work for me.
The texture is 256x256 and 83,2kb big. It just shows a grey texture when I log in.

Also, my export options are correct. (For exporting to .obj)

    I'm using: 3DS max 9 (not 2009!), and windows 7 (shouldn't be the problem)

    Any suggestions?

EDIT: I used your tutorial files, and recreated the stealth bomber and that didn't work either. So maybe I need to change my texture settings (the ones from 3DS max)? If so, can you share them with us?

EDIT2: Ok, I tried converting the stuff with the files from your tutorial.rar, still no texture. So I'm guessing it must be something with my PC, or your program. I'm not saying that your program doesn't work for others.

Thank you for looking into this.
