Ok I opend common and it loaded the chars but when i double click on the m2 file it says error dont send and stuff like that. Any ideas on how to fix it?

The issue is that little apple symbol in the corner, i means ur running a peice of crap. Jking, though i hate macs. Ur running MWS .10 right? That comonly is the prooblem, not running the most up to date MWS

Im acutally not using a mac im running windows but i've skinned it to look like a mac :P But i dont know which one im running but ill find an updated one.

Oh im using 9.0 can anyone find me a link to 10?

I just tried this and i cant get it to work

i dled it and extracted it to my wow folder but then when i go to data there are only the files like xaio had

common.mpq
expansion.mpq
patch-2.mpq
patch.mpq

when i open patch.mpq there is no Night elf folder at all(im a NE female trying to become and orc male)

same thing with all the other folders

plz help

I've been looking for Model Editing Guides EVERYWHERE! I've stretched to each corner of the internet and anyone I find seems to be out-of-date considering there is no longer a Models.mpq file. I also only have the 4 MPQs...sooo where are the models stored now?

Just one problem, I don't have a texture.MPQ..I got common, expansion & patch..Nothing else :\

NOTE: Model.mpq, speech.mpq, etc. have been combined into Common.mpq

Please read the guide before saying that some of the .mpq files are missing.

Also where can I find Mywarcraftstudio .10? Somehow I got .7 O.o

Ok, Ive been having problems with this i followed the guide except when i load in game everything is the same like its not recognizing the patch ive made...do i need to run a program to fix this or do you think it is just a slight naming issue that I fuked up? Ill upload my mod later its to get rid of a karazahn door but didnt work...I used to be good with this stuff pre-bc but havnt really messed with it since...well sorry for spelling and grammar im on schools comps so using ie and not firefox ;( (would use my U3 for portable but crashes when i plug it in ;O)

night elves should be common->character->nightelves pretty ez they do keep the stuff organized...
