[Question] Patch-?? ..??

Hi there, I'd like to know if I can name patch-?? (for example patch-3) to something else? Like patch-belftonelf ?

Hello mate. Of course you can rename the customs .mpq's but this way will not work aka will not load. To make them load you must rename them to patch-x.mpq and put them in data folder of wow.
x= 3-9

if you want to store them you can rename them whatever you want

I can't get them load even if i put it's name (patch-neftobef or else) to MEF (Model edit fix) "list"
With list i mean that .conf which tells what mpq's it loads

Rename the mpq with a number between 3 to 9.
If you have the latest Model Edit Fix try this:


Rename wowme.exe to notepad.exe or whatever you want for example.

Rename wowme.cfg to the same name you have wowme.exe ( in this example rename it notepad.cfg)


And also rename wowme.dll to the same name ( notepad.dll )

Erase everything that .cfg file has.
Start wow put username password etc press f8 and should work
At least thats the way i use MEF.
