Question - All be the same

First im new to this, and new on the forum... sorry my bad english btw, well lest get to the point:
When instaled one of the MPQ files, the one regarding to change my character to a Blood Elf(High Elf to me because of the RP, i was a Human Male) i know that to others hat dont have the MPQ they still see me as a HUman Male..but i ask to all, why the other humans change as well to Blood Elfs? can i change the MPQ in order to i only change and the others dont change? its like this even the NPC´s changed to Blood Elfs =x

Player models and NPC models use the exact same race files to determine race.

Therfore unless you do some fancy model work, and ven then it's not perfect, all members of a race (Yourself, other players and NPCs) will be changed with the model change.

is there no way to i be the only one that changes? like an MPQ that changes me only and the other players\NPC´s still be the same? =x

you can make npcs the same but change player characters only but you cant change only yourself since you change the same model that everyone uses includeing npcs

you can edit the dbc files and make the players a different model than the npc's leaving the npc's alone. but all the players will be whatever you are.

i did some reading and tried some off the packs tha are avayable online on this forum when i use one that afect´s players like changing my self to other raçe...all the npc´s are changed as well, i ask asking if heres any ways to fix tha...like a pack thati install and only afect me as a player and leave the npc´s and other´s player like they original are =x
