i renamed em both to patch-6.mpq put them in my Data folder and they both don't work.

That's because they're no MPQs. You have to put them into Cache/WDB/enGB (or usUS/deDE, depends on what WoW language you use) and overwrite the original itemcache.wdb with them.

just tryed that, i put in one of em (don't remember which) and it didn't work, put it in my cache/WDB/enUS folder and logged in, nothing different, and after i acctualy logged into my char everyone was naked and said unknown, took about 3 d/c's to get every person normal again.
