    Hex Editing Question

So after I learned that model editing on a Mac in 2.3 wasn't able to be done, I decided to start messing around with hex editing. I was able to swap out any weapon/armor alright but I wondered if I could change like 20 or 30 things to something else. What I mean is, I have changed my mains armor to another set, I also changed my friends armor to something else and I wanted to be able to see his gear as well as mine, BUT when I go to add all of the edited hex into one itemcache, it reverts it to whatever the first person's armor is. Sorry to be a bit confusing, but has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

Well thats what I have done, I combined both of our itemcaches after they were edited and when I login whoever's cache that was "first" or "ontop" of the itemcache.wdb is what opens in wow, so only 1 player's gear is changed.

Yes, copy and pasted one of the caches to another, but whichever character's cache was already there(not copied) would remain and the copied one would delete itself upon login.

Yes, because they are a whole file for themnselfes. In the itemcaches is set how long they are etc. If you just add another to the end they wont even recognize it.

You have to get it inside of the other WDB. And not by just copying it to the end.

The easiest way is just producing an itemcache with both itemsets, yours and your friend's items. Just take Glitchy's app and change all items. Then you have both sets in one file.

But with copy and pasting ... Well, WDBs have a numRows at 0x0C, 0x10 or 0x14. I am not sure which one.
You'd have to add both nRows together and get them into the first file's header. Then you have to copy all rows except the header from the second file into it.

But as said: Do the GLitchy way of life. Its way easier.
