[Question]Hex Editing Armor

I'm new to the whole hex editing thing so I have been following some guides but have run in to some problems. I'm trying to make my Gladiators Plate Helm look like the Merciless Gladiators Plate Helm but once im finished I get this

Any clue as to what I might be doing wrong.

If your helm appears with a "?" as icon, you've entered the wrong hex-code.

Thanks, I figured out what i was doing wrong. Turns out I entered the code in the wrong box 1 space to the left of where it should have gone.
