    [Question] Textures and lighting

    I made custom fishing bobbers textures (to improved color/visibility) but the lighting on the zones changes the color.

    So anyhow, my mind is too rusty and i gave up on search. I know there was some 3d thing you could change to force the rendering to ignore lighting conditions. I think there is a hex value that can be changed.

    This has been done before to cheat in Counterstrike years ago, eg. make guns, and models glow.

    Does such thing exist or am i thinking of something else?

    Flags:
    • 0x01 Unlit
    • 0x02 Unfogged?
    • 0x04 Two-sided (no backface culling if set)
    • 0x08 ?
    • 0x10 Disable z-buffer?

    Where do i find these variables? I've been harvesting the MPQ for data and i can't find it.

    Can i set this flags into a single individual unit? (eg. the bobber only)

    These are information on how to modify the model itself. The information is therefore in the model.

    You have to open up that model and change the specific information at those offsets.
