need help with MWS

well first of all, sometimes when i clicked an m2 file i cant see the skins, also i tried to model edit i got the m2 and blp file for the one i wanted to chance, then i put the files (bloodfang helm, and yes it was the right NiF) and changed and so on, when i did the model edit done i went to see it, but when i logged in only the color changed... like wtf? could some1 help.

Lets see.. First question: White, Blank M2 files. Please read my Compendium, it has that in the Errors section.. Now to answer it, Sometimes, MWCS just screws up and doesn't show the textures. However, most of the time this error is due to you having an older version of MWCS which doesn't show the textures. Get the newest one from the Model Editing Programs sticky in the main section.

Second question: You probably didn't get the name of the M2 file right. Check to make sure you didn't keep it as Leather_RaidRogue_B_01_NiF.m2. It should(as you know, I'm just typing it for completeness) be named to whatever it is you're switching. IF you got it right, also check to make sure you got your Treepath correct. Remember, it should look like

Some textures just will be white, because they can match up with many .blps, really nothing u can do about it
