I was just wondering if WDB editing still works and if Blizzard searches for it when you load up WoW!

well... while they could technically check for it by scanning every file... they as of yet have not wished to take the time to do it... its unlikely to happen any time soon as it require some edits to the games file structure as scripts cannot directly interact with wdb files. also keep in mind warden only checks for hash values it doesn't check file consistency, so while your wdb file is being read or written to for that matter warden cannot see anything but a hash value that says "hey i'm a wdb file... nice to meet cha"
