Where is the characters file in MWS?

Well i was following a random race to race guide and in everyone i have to extract CHARACTERS and characters well i have both CHARACTERS in my Common.MPQ and Patch.MPQ but for character i have only one in Patch.MPQ and missing it in Common.MPQ what does this mean? I can't model edit?

Doesn't matter which one are you using, find it in any of the MPQs. Can be anywhere...dunno exactly, I hate race conversions.

Well i read from about 8 million diff Race to Race model edits pages that u need characters on both kinds or this will not work so im guessing mine just doesn't work cause it hates me >.<;, and i tried looking for it everywhere i found nothing but CHARACTER CHARACTER and only one character and by watching the movie i was like pfft no big deal going on w/o the other character one i get no choices in my InfanView. I just want my guy to go from Human to undead yet i can't even do that so idk wtf to do anymore. Rawer...

w00t ok i found out what im missing now im missing all the styles of how ur person is supposed to look. Anyone know where i can find this?

Its under character... right after you open common.mpq

And im pretty sue that the textures are under the uppercase CHARACTER and if you mean the weapons and armor you have, there is something in another thread about how to find the item id's and textures... ill DL MWS and find it out sometime tomorrow, im tired now.

Ty hobbes for the help but i know where characters should be but it isn't there thats my big problem i have been following Race to Race guide by Evilpookie it shows characters there but it isn't there so...am i missing anything?
