[Question] Does MEing cause lag or..

as title says.. When I use a model edit.. Will it then cause my wow to be slower, laggier or have lower performance than usual?
I ask this question because my computer is old, and the first time I ever used a model edit (today ), my WoW seemed to have lower performance than usual.. Anyway, thanks for your time, and hopefully for your answer

It depends on the modeledit you're using.
I don't know if anybody remembers , but there was quite a cool modeledit for the enchants into a fiery thingy.

Well, that enchant edit lowered my PC's FPS for about 10fps, what isn't really that much, because I normaly run around with 60FPS.

But using some even harder model edits, more detailed stuff, more shiny etc. will probably cause your PC to lag, yes.

most model edits I do don't affect my PCs performance any such as mount changes and such but i do remember way back when i changed my dwarf-> tauren had the dalrends->thunderfurys and changed mounts a bit and spells and i was down to 1 FPS, basically restating what remah said about the more complicated you get the more you lag...
Dwarfs are fat smelly pieces of shit...stating how drunk I was when I rolled one...
