lmao, ok, this isnt making much sense... lol, wierd thing is there are files for zul aman in here, along with kara..... anyways, still working on it, but the changes are so different, i wouldnt know where to start, im taking it im gonna have to do a dbc edit? or not even toutch the dbc, and go to the world map files? idk... cant even open them though, even tryed the 1st version of my warcraft studio, still no luck, im pretty sure if i can get in that damn file i can do it....

ok guys..... just a random thought between two noobs.... put all the old mpqs in the wow data folder along w/ world folder and textures folder... make a patch-whatever.mpq with the old map list file.... would it read from those? or am i just way too tired.... idk, im still workin on it, but any thoughts you guys have, please post em. much love.

You can't use alpha-WoW's maps in the 2.x-one. Not until you can convert them. And you can't...

Yes, it is possible. Its not hard too. There are several mdx to 3ds converters and a 3ds to m2 converter out there.
