how to edit login screen???

So i already have the music of draenor and the logo of warlords on my log in screen.


And now, i wanna edit the TBC green portal to red. How would i go about doing this? I have photoshop.

Hello Everyone today i will be teach you how to change your login screen and all the major images on it i may write a tutorial later on the buttons ext ext but not for now, however i will be writing a tutorial later today on how to edit the character select screen.

Okay lets start off with a list of supplies needed
Character Create Screen+Login Screen

JUST the Login Screen

BLP2PNG

And a Photo editing software
Recommend: Photoshop


Okay so lets get started! We are going to edit the Login screen which yours should be something like this



And by the time your done hopefully looks something like this(minus the messing around so u could see the changes it made

Okay so first of all we will start with changing the Background, First Extract the rar you download into your Patch-z.MPQ (if you don't have one please make one) then extract it here. Okay now that you have that done go into the interface folder then the GLUES folder, then the Models, then the UI_MainMenu folder, and lastly the Northrend folder

Interface-->Glues-->Models-->UI_MainMenu-->Northrend

Now click on the image called WotLK_Login_Citadel01 and open the PNG type of this and open it with your photo editing software. Now as you see you have my background from my login screen and around that is black the reason that black is around it is anything outside of tat will show up tilted on the login screen and it is not recommended to have anything in there. Now find the picture you want or make one your self and make it fit in that area. Now done save as a PNG and drag it onto your Blp2PNG converter and it will make a BLP and place in the same directory you got it from.

Next we will edit the logo under the Login information itself aka the blizzard logo. Now to find this you got to Interface folder then to the Glues folder and then to the MainMenu folder.

Interface-->Glues-->MainMenu

Now this is the file you need for that so there is no restrictions here however on my actual login screen i just made it clear or no logo but in this i just wrote iminurpocket so you could see where it was placed in the above image. Now edit it save it as .PNG and run it through your converter again and place exactly in the same directory you got it.

Next we will edit the ESRB Notice, which is located in the bottom left of the normal login screen. This is located in Interface folder then Glues, then Login.

Interface-->Glues-->Login

Now this file has some restrictions and i made a line on your file where you should have nothing as it will go into text and look horrible. So it is recommend to keep that and above that line clear.

Now the last image i will be showing you how to edit is the logo on the top left. Please don't be a critic of mine as it just a template haha not my actual this is for your learning purpose. Okay now go to Interface then go tot glues then go to common.

Interface-->Glues-->Common

and open up the file called Glues-wow-wotlklogo this is that logo tho be warned it shows up in several places like when you login on the character select or character create screen as well edit it and there are no restrictions on this as well save as png and run through your converter and your done with you login screen!.

this is for live, not wotlk private server. does not use same png. also i would like to keep it animated.
