[Reskin Issue] Crown of Eternal Winter

I am trying to reskin the Crown of Eternal Winter which has been imported to a 3.3.5 server.

It does not look too bad in game, but when I zoom out it darkens and the face projection disappears (it does not do this with the original).

I tried multiple BLP to PNG programs and have tried both indexed and RGB colors with no luck.
