    [Question] Area specific models?

    Before I start, I would like to say I am fairly new to this stuff >.> I've been playing around with is some though and I have encountered a few snags.

    Really, what I would like to know is- is there anyway I can access just zone specific models? Take for instance- Dun Morogh, I was editing this place some, trying to change everything from snow into a more tropical look >.>

    Well, I got all of the tile sets down and loaded it up to take a look, and I thought to myself "Well... Snowy trees aren't very native to this type of climate." So I went back into MWCS to so some model swapping, and thats where I got stuck. I looked just about everywhere in the Common.mpq file, and couldnt find any models that matched the trees and what not in Dun Morogh, I thought that it may share the same tree models as the Winterspring trees, but that didn't work =(

    Anyway, I'm gonna keep tearing away this, do some more trial & error work.
    But any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    extract a .adt of dun morogh and open it with a hex editor and you'll see all the files used on the map

    o.o" Yeah, thats a bit ahead of me, I think I'm gonna keep poking around with MWCS before I get to far ahead of myself >.> Thanks though, I'll remember that for future use.
