    Model SIze

Ok I have a problem when I swap models (using DBC editing OR swapping texture/models around) where the new model is slightly larger than it should be.

E.g I swap to female human and real female humans are smaller than me in game.

I will suck dick for an answer.

    Re: Model SIze

How to fix my model sizes. Every model swap I do is larger than the original model.

I change to female human, I look bigger than actual humans.

I dbc edit to noggenfogger skeleton, I look bigger than an actual noggenfogger skeleton.

It's not really noticeable for undead/skeleton, but when you change to human you look bloated =\

Btw I'm a gnome if that makes any difference.

    Re: Model SIze

Its because the gnome model itself is scaled up more than the say for example human models are. so when you change the model it scales the model up more than it really should because it thinks its still a gnome, it should be possible through DBC editing to ffix this

    Re: Model SIze

Thanks for the reply. Would you have any idea on how to do this, or any references on how to interpret the DBC files so I can find what I'm looking for ?

    Thanks

Seriously no-one? I'm kind of surprised this isn't brought up more, gnome -> human just looks plain retarded.

    Re: Model SIze

Just got around to trying what you suggested, but it didn't work =\

    Still looking for a solution.

Edit: Just read reflex0rz0rs transparency and size guide which states char sizes are set by the server. I guess what I want isn't possible.
