    injectable BEM>BEF

Hey, too cheap to pay for a recustomization right now but I want to make my male BElf a female, so I decided to model edit it. But for Cata I need a version using the new cata model data so I can inject it. Can anyone help?

I tried at least 3 ways to do it, first two didn't work, the last one produced a really screwed up image.

got it! needed to include the .skin files

---------- Post added at 10:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:47 AM ----------

works now... but I get critical exception errors after logging in... ugh, this is why I usually just request instead of make.

---------- Post added at 11:19 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:52 AM ----------

And NOW the model isn't loading again.

I copied every file for a female blood elf (even animations) and renamed them for male. Plus I edited the DBC to call up the female model.
Patched them using Ladik's and used the injector at http://forums.darknestfantasyerotica...p?f=11&t=40484
I have all the female textures... on a male model.

BeM-BeF.MPQ rename it as prelast or more patch and fix your "wow.exe" accordingly. must work.

p.s. file would be deleted after 30 days without downloading.

p.p.s. I still do not recommend you use similar patches for official servers. but for your own ban risk.

VX2, you think you could clarify one or two things for me? See, I'm on a Mac and as the model editing noob I am I don't follow when I read things like "extract latest "\\DBFilesClient\CreatureModelData.dbc" ("\\World of Warcraft\Data\Cache\enGB\patch-enGB-13329.MPQ\DBFilesClient\CreatureModelData.dbc") into appropriate temporary folder ("c:\1\base\DBFilesClient\")" and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I wonder if it's possible for you to make a finished MPQ for me that replaces the Scourge Female model with a male one, so basicly; ScF -> ScM.

If not, can you tell me, in words, what to do more specificly? Like what you mean with "make temporary folder (for sample "c:\1\")" etc.

All of us arn't computer prodigies so I know that there's alot of people hiding in the dark, having no clue what you're trying to say; so it would be cool if you could be our hero and make a short guide for superdummies, like myself, where you don't explain so much how the m2 and dbc files works and which structure they have, because we don't know what to do with that information. I'm sure that information comes in very handy for people who actually understands what you're talking about, but I'm not one of them.

    Thank you

sorry man, I have no idea how mac is work (not about executable files, not about file system). but you can't use this while your executable client file ("wow.exe" for win) not patched. I can suggest you tricky plan x) you may install virtual machine, and install windows on this vm. then you can launch your wow from this vm. it's not so hard, just try it
I recommend you use Oracle VirtualBox it's simple easy and almost don't require any special knowledge unlike VMWare.

Aha, thanks. So how do I patch wow.exe then?

---------- Post added at 03:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:39 PM ----------

And what exactly is wow.exe? I apologize for my ignorance.

Schlumpf: You being a model editing champion, maybe you have the answer to all these questions? I can't just put a patch into the data folder without modifying my wow.exe and if so; where do I locate it?

"wow.exe" is a main executable client file for win. it's locate in wow folder.
you may get patcher here http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...n-remover.html
just unpack, launch, select your "wow.exe", set fixes what you need and click "Apply"

    you must:
-patch your "wow"exe" (at least "signaturefile", "maximize patch number limitation")
-rename archive as latest (for sample "wow-update-13330.MPQ") and put it in "wow\Data\" folder.

maybe you could be an angel and create a ScF-ScM MPQ for a lost soul like me. And if you have more time also a ScF-HuM.
Think about the karma in doing this :9

So, when I've installed the VirtualBox, and installed world of warcraft via the program, all I have to do is patching the wow.exe and putting, if you make one for me, your MPQ in data named as the last wow-update-xxxx.MPQ. Am I right?

yes. it's must be completely enough.

I hope you can make it self. that's would be useful for you, especially if you would make some different, because I can't make similar patches for all. as well few similar patches can't work together, without simple modifying. you must understand what you do, that you'll have no problems with it in the future.
of course I can try to help if you'll get entangled
