Using the patcher you said to use, but I still get an ordinary blood elf male.
Is there some naming restriction? I'm named as 16669

I like L.
you may use names until "wow-update-268435456.MPQ" (10000000 in hex. I have no idea why). when you start your client, it must cache your patch too, include locale cache.
for sample, if your patch named as "wow-update-16669.MPQ", you must see files (for enGB):
if you can't see this files - it means your patch not used. also you must pack "base\" ("base" more prefer than locale) folder as root in your patch. or files in your archive wouldn't be used.Code:\\Data\Cache\patch-base-16669.MPQ \\Data\Cache\SoundCache-patch-16669.MPQ \\Data\Cache\enGB\patch-enGB-16669.MPQ \\Data\Cache\enGB\SoundCache-patch-enGB-16669.MPQ
Alright, wonderful. So while I'm launching it though VirtualBox, maybe you could recommend some programs while you're at it?
Does it work like it did before? Like renaming the files you wish for your character, for instance rename the ScourgeMale.anim's to ScourgeFemale.anim's etc
I don't get those files, and I used the one you linked for me. Do I need to go in and repack that with base\blah\blah\blah\blah?

old patches are not compatible. at least you may try to repack it as new patch structure (add root "base" folder), but old models may crash your client. also you may try to make your similar patch, by using new files in compliance with new "rules".
I recommend you use total commander and zezula totalMPQ plugin. it's really easy and useful.

you must only patch your "wow.exe" appropriately and rename "BeM-BeF.MPQ" as "wow-update-16669.MPQ" and put it in your "\\wow\Data\" folder I completely prepare it for you.
sorry man, I can recommend you reread this thread carefully once again http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...3-13329-a.html because I write the same things even in this thread not once and you ask me again. most likely, you missed something.
I seem to be stable. Finally found out the problem after you posted the path for the file.
I was dumping it into data\cache instead of just data. Thanks, finally :P

Tell me everything you did to get this working, step by step. Where you found the wow.exe etc. Would be really helpfulThanks
ok. may be at next week I append simple video in my thread.
