Red Draenei

Could anyone maybe make a Red Colored Draenei?

I found 2 threads at google but theese Threads are from 2008 and they are not working for me...

(I hope this is the right section. If not you can move the thread and sorry )

I think you got the right section but I dont think it works in the new patch to change the data files. So you'll probably have to wait for a solution . If somebody comes up with a solution I could do it. But now I wont since I dont wanna do it if nobody can use it .

This is very simple:

1. Find and read a tutorial (in the guides section), about changing textures.
2. Extract the draenei texture, and convert it to png.
3. Alter it in photoshop/GIMP/whatever to the desired red.
4. Convert back to blp.
5. Import it into custom MPQ, and create the patch.

That's it, all done in less that 10 minutes provided you can read and understand the guide. With this knowledge, you can make other edits. What ever you want, without having rely on others to do it. Since rarely the "boring" (and this is) requests get filled.

Hmmm. I just found out that it wont work. I mean I cant make it work, for some reason. I could make the Textures and make them into BLP files (Blizzard Pictures) and then upload them here if anyone wants? or someone could teach me how to make it work? cuz i would also want to be making some more custom skins

As far as I know, it is not possible to model edit in this current patch, so all edits will not work for a while. The basic steps what Merfed said should work, but something has been changed that the .MPQ is not loaded correctly so your edit won't show up.

Sorry for a Double Post but are there any changes?

All i can find is "Model to Model swap" but not a guide for 4.0.1+ to change skin color
