    Noggit Question

How come Noggit looks in the wrong WoW folder even if I change the noggit.conf? It was working fine before but it recently decided to change to my retail WoW folder which is 4.0.1 so noggit wont start up anymore.

Well... Your question is rather... Weird, if you ask me. To me, it sounds like it could be different problems. Here is a list of problems it could be:

    1) You would perhaps need to edit your RegistryKey's, which then would make Noggit work.
    2) Then again, you cannot run Noggit with a World of Warcraft version that is 4.x.x or above, cause the MPQ structure has been modified by Blizzard, in the newest patchs
    3) It could also be, if either your Noggit or World of Warcraft is broken, then it wont be able to run, as its supposed to.

    Thanks

I fixed it temporarily by renaming my 3.3.5 WoW folder to my Retail WoW folders name.

Editing the config file only helps if you run Noggit with the -c parameter. If not, it wont even look at the config file.

You need to start Noggit using "noggit -c", not "noggit". Then its checking the config file.
