Heya guys. Just have a query about extracting a dungeon and all its components for use elsewhere.
My goal is to extract any model components of the layout of Karazhan, relevant textures, doodads, etc., and convert them for use elsewhere. Don't worry about that converting part; all I need is Karazhan.
Now, I've browsed around a bit and found some generic Kara files (burning books, rubble, floating rocks) split up into their blp textures and their m2 models. However, I'm having a hard time finding the dungeon's models themselves. Logic can only assume that, since the place was OBVIOUSLY not constructed using heightmaps, there's gotta be a chache of m2 models somewhere that the game links together to make the dungeon. Seems it's not that obvious.
I did find a folder full of wmo files, and I've extracted them. Is anything contained in them? Or are they just references? Because they all only add up to 16.5 MB, a curious number if anything.
