Shadowform -> what?

Hello,

I have successfully managed to change the shadowform (which annoyed me) to the effect of Fade spell. Looks pretty nice, but now all shadow priests are almost invisible. I've tried Holyform, but i didn't like how the flames behave while running.
Could anyone please suggest me a different spell, something not too shiny, not too fancy. I would love to have just a delicate glow around my character, without altering its textures.

I know how to edit the files, so I only ask for suggestions.

Hm, just swap it to demon form of warlocks if you want a complete redesign, else change it to pws or avenging wrath of paladins. Maybe some proc auras like shadowmourne will also look nice, or the fiery bubble that you see at some private servers.

Thank you for the reply, but as I said before I would like to have a minor effect on my character.
I have tried a ghost aura, it looks good, but is a bit to big.
Maybe some effect of glowing hands (but not so shiny as Death Wish for example)?

Ah a minor effect. Well if you want something minor just see if you can swap it with some fire/frost/nature casting sequence. You know, when you cast a spell, fire or frost particles shows up on yer hand during the cast.

Yes, that's a good idea, though I don't know how to do that, as I only know how to change effects through the DBC Editor. When I change Shadowform for a castable spell effect, I can see it as an instant spell, when entering the stance, and then nothing. Is there a solution for this?

Btw, I'm 90% sure, but those 10% make me ask: is there a way to change the spell effect ONLY for my char, and not everyone?

No, all changes affects everyone. Never really worked with DBC edits, but, aren't there 2 seperate shadowforms? One that is used during casting, and the other one that stayts as a "buff" .

By editing the DBC I can change the whole sequence of a spell with only one number. Only the long lasting spells are not seen as instants in this case.
For example:
Shadowform -> Avenging Wrath will allow me to see the wings all the time in shadowform.
Shadowform -> Mind Blast animation will be seen as an instant while entering the form.

Maybe someone knows a way to prolong the casting animation (hand glow) for the whole Shadowform stance?
