Model Editing for NPC's

Can anybody give me the link for a model editing program that can reskin NPC's? Like changing the gear around and adding new pieces of it.

Changing npc armor is .dbc editing.
Extract creaturedisplayinfo.dbc via MyWarcraftStudio, and look at a guide for the rest.
As for reskinning, find the .blp, convert it with a converter, edit with photoshop, convert back.

Where can one find the creaturedisplayid.dbc? In one of the MPQ files?

*EDIT* Found it in Taliis config file... not sure if it's the right one and it's a config file so it cannot be opened with an MPQ opener like MyWarcraftStudio. Need feedback please.
