    Model swap question, regarding textures

I have to ask, I don't model edit but I just have a simple question I hope can be answered. I was wondering say, if you can do a physical model swap from say...undead to human, but keep the undead features, skin tone, haircolor, etc. Is this possible? So I guess in short, a physical model swap without the retexture?

Yea....sure u can...can look a little weird tho...but I have turned my human into an orc with human texture and it looks pretty cool. :P

Use My WarCraftStudio to look for CreatureModelData.dbc in patch-enGB-2.mpq then extract the CreatureModelData.dbc
then open it up with dbc editor.
then press the "ID" button so that the number 1 comes at the top and 2 one step under that and so on.
Then find ur original model's ID
    51 -orcmale
    52 -orcfemale
    57 -UDmale
    58 -UDfemale
    59 -taurenmale
    60 -taurenfemale
    1478 -trollmale
    1479 -trollfemale
    15476 -bloodelfmale
    15475 -bloodelffemale

    49 -humanmale
    50 -humanfemale
    53 -dwarfmale
    54 -dwarffemale
    55 -nightelfmale
    56 -nightelffemale
    1563 -gnomemale
    1564 -gnomefemale
    16125 -draeneimale
    16126 -draeneifemale

So say u want a UD Male thats "ID" 57 to get into a humanMale "ID" 49, then u simply add the number that the humans have in "field 1" to the undeads "field 1", so it should be like...
    ID = 49
    Field 1 = 57

So u only have to change field 1 (where it said 49 before) to 57 basicaly.
Then save it and create a new mpq in MywarcraftStudio and add the new CreatureModelData.dbc in to that achive and save and close and put it in ur data folder.

You can't do that perfectly in dbc manners.

And it won't work out anyhow cause the skin files for Undeads texture don't match the human one.

    But

you can reskin it in your own style.

Zantas I just tried to reskin the human texture to some undead (custom skin) and it turned out like a disaster :P.....cant understand how blizzard makes their UV Map...its very weird :P

Btw do you know a quick way to like...save over alot of files...say I want to create a custom texture for humans...how do I change it to all of the names so that....HumanFaceLower00 to HumanFaceLower10 have it etc. (dont know if thats the actual name of them but u get the point).
