[help] applying skins

Okayyy, So recently I used glitchy's MES to add the old school cat form model into wow. on the live servers the model is there but not the skin so I did a huge process and made a skin for it. The problem is I don't know how to put the skin I made onto glitchy's MES model.
Please help me i've been trying to do this for 3 days -.-' I managed to combine the 2 mpq files and it worked but only on one druid..maybe it was his because of his hair/skin combination? ffs

Edit: Nevermind, I've finished it! after 4 days I finally made it possible to get the old tauren cat form!But it only worked for 10 minutes..what the hell can somebody please give me some help i'm fed up of waiting

Seems to only be working with a certain skin colour that taurens have...If anybody can help me make it work for all colours I will give +rep and be extremely happy.. please ?

Edit: Hmm. Not sure what's wrong, I think one of my MPQs is corrupted; it is giving me an error when trying to extract the Tauren druid model (and it doesn't seem to be in the right place anyhow). Going to make copies and see if I can fix it and extract.

Here you go! I tested this on my Tauren druid Works for all colors, and the animations are the old school ones as well. As usual, just rename the file to patch-x where 'x' equals a number or letter not already in use in the data folder. This doesn't require WoWME to work- just pop it in the data folder and you're ready to go.

Oh my god! thank you so very very much alexial, I just always liked the tauren druid...

I spent about 6 hours doing all sorts of things and in the end only the druids with white skin would have the normal cat form..

Honestly you don't know how happy I am, I just can't begin =p

you've made it so simple.. there were all these guides where I had to download about 20 programs to extract it and all this stuff but you've done it in just 1 file, thank you so very much <3 ^_^

hehe, I like the old model because It brings back lots of memories.. the new ones are good but I hate the size of the head compared to the paws.. it just gets on my nerves.. its my opinion anyway, thanks so much for this - please read the post I wrote, I forgot to click on reply >.<

You're quite welcome ! It's actually a fairly easy edit if you know where to find stuff (and put it back!) and I already had the 20+ programs to do it I think I understand what you mean about it bringing back fond memories. It was something a bunch of people had asked for in the past, and I just hadn't gotten around to, so I'm glad it finally got done! I'm actually working on another edit to use the old model but with the new color styles since it's so popular apparently.
