How do i model edit?

hey... i'm new to model editing and wanted to know if i need some programs to do so, and would like to ask for someone to make a guide of how to edit weapons and skins... thank you

Guide to the basics of re-skinning.

If you wish to work with world building I suggest you look into
the following programs.


Noggit
Tallis
MPQEditor
LightMapper
DBCEditor
WoWModelViewer


You don't always need all of these program, but they each play important roles on a full fetched edit.

Ailso be aware that most model edits (other than simple reskins/model swaps) take an exceptional amount of time and willpower to create, so I suggest starting out small and working your way up
