alrright listen,
i dont know if blizz can find out that ur rag in ghost wolf form
ive asked about 6 diff GMs and 4 of them said that it was ok, the other 2 said it was against ToS
IMO, you can do w/e you want if its client side and doesent effect other people, even tho i do that too,
its pretty much ur call cuz u wont get a solid answer
Thank you original~GANK~staz.
Can other people see my "new model", and can they post it to a GM ?
No they cannot see it unless you do something like switch a campfire with the darkportal and are floating in the air, then you will most likely get banned
personally for myself I feel safe only using edits that change the way things look, like mounts, weapons, spells, races.
Anything that changes the shape of something solid that you can walk on. Like lets say you change a tree into a ramp, so to other player it will look like you are walking up into a tree, and to you it looks like you are walking up a ramp. Stuff like that is alot more risky. Than just thing that dont effect anybody in any way.
I personally think every should just use it to edit your own char not make a herb into rag so you can see it a mile away
players cannot see it its clientside, making campfires into dark portals are a risk too, liek i said b4 its up to you
all model editing is against the ToS.
Very simple.
Being against the ToS and being bannable is a different thing though.
It depends on them:
A) Detecting you
B) Caring enough to ban you.
In summary: It IS against the terms of service, but that doesn't mean its detectable or that they'll care.
cache edits are fairly safe though. go with them if you're worried.
